The horror movie is scheduled to release in theatres on October 27.

Horror fans can expect a golden year in 2023 with the release of films like M3GAN, Knock at the Cabin, and Infinity Pool, as well as Scream VI and Winnie the Pooh: Blood and Honey. Another installment in a well-known horror film series is now in production and will soon be released in theatres. Production on Saw X, the newest installment in the Saw film franchise, has come to an end.

On his Twitter page, director Kevin Greutert, who was also responsible for directing Saw 3D and Saw VI, revealed the news today. He disclosed that the last day of filming took place on Friday, February 10, in Mexico City with the cast and crew. On his Twitter thread, he detailed the difficulties that he faced while filming, but he concluded by saying that, in the end, he found the experience to be beneficial. The director has expressed enthusiasm and excitement as he looks forward to editing the film, despite the fact that COVID was given to them in the final two weeks of filming.

While we were having this conversation regarding the title, the director also mentioned that he hoped they would wind up choosing Saw X as the title for the film because it would bring the franchise back to its beginnings. Even though Greutert is familiar with the series, the director disclosed that practically all of the cast members in Saw X are making their series debuts:
There have been very few, if any, facts revealed about the storyline of the forthcoming slasher film; nevertheless, it has been suggested that the timeline of Saw X would take place between the events of the first Saw and the second Saw. Tobin Bell, the actor who originated the Jigsaw character, is set to reprise his role as the series' antagonist in the upcoming film, which will feature the return of the character John Kramer. In addition, actress Shawnee Smith will play Amanda Young again in this production.

In addition to Bell and Smith, the cast will consist of Synnove Lund, Steven Brand, Renata Vaca, Paulette Hernandez, Octavia Hinojosa, and Michael Beach. The two leads, Bell and Smith, will also be featured. Pete Goldfinger and Josh Stolberg are responsible for the script of the film. The picture will be produced by Lionsgate once again, this time with the help of producers Mark Burg, Oren Koules, Ulrich Maier, and Erick Ahedo.

Saw X will be the tenth installment in the series, and its release date on October 27, just in time for Halloween, is currently planned out.
